Hey, Daler Mhendi smuggled people on his tours, who's to say the Cat is above such things? In all seriousness though, I don't think the election is as thrilling as it seems. You have Bush, and you have "Not Bush." Yes, everyone hates Bush. But just because I hate Pauly Shore does not mean I'll go see Carrot Top.
That comment follows the same general line of thinking as the classic Nader-logic, which is to say "There is no discernable difference between the two and therefore it doesn't matter who I vote for." There is a lack of strategy, and frankly a lack of intelligence, in the logic. If everyone hates Bush, and its true that the "anyone but Bush" campaign has been the most dominant rather than "Vote Kerry", then clearly everyone would want to vote him out. Now that doesn't just mean vote for somebody other than Bush, that doesn't work 'cause it splits the vote and then Bush gets the plurality. The first Bush really lost to Clinton because Perot split the republican vote, him with his pie charts on Larry King Live. No, everyone has to vote for the most dominant opposition to Bush, which is Kerry, and voting any other way is a public announcement to the world that you don't actually care who gets elected and you shouldn't have bothered to show up to the polls in the first place

I find it amusing how extremists on either end of the political spectrum are sure that anyone who has opinions that differ from their own must be completely retarded. Granted that I have friends on both ends of the spectrum--either way I go, I'm bound to fail the "intelligence test" according to some. I suppose it was in my best interest that a couple weeks ago I reaffirmed that I'd join the ranks of the "ignorant people" and stay home and hence not be a "waste of space". It's a good thing I don't take politics seriously, or I might actually be offended by the crude terminology you used to describe people like me.
Alright back to trying to make sense of a language that I perhaps understand less of than that politics.
