Yes, I've done so. It was pretty painless. There are a few new features, but I haven't noticed any significant changes to the existing ones. (I opted not to install some of the new optional add-ons, though.)

At work, we all had to leave our computers on overnight, two nights in a row, because Microsoft had urgent patches to fix their latest whoos-it. I figure theis explorer 8 is buggy right now. I'm also irritated by the latest microsoft/yahoo combo, since I don't like microsoft anyway and yahoo should have kept going it alone.
So viva la revolution!! Or, don't install until you see the whites of their eyes. something like that.
I have done so. I'm not happy with it, personally. Seems to mess up more sites than IE7. ActiveX compatibility in particular seems horrible for now; since I mostly use Firefox, this makes the upgrade even more painful to me.
