My computer keeps nagging my to update to Internet Exploder 8. Has anyone here done so? If so, ho does it compare with the previous version(s)?

Yes, I've done so. It was pretty painless. There are a few new features, but I haven't noticed any significant changes to the existing ones. (I opted not to install some of the new optional add-ons, though.)

At work, we all had to leave our computers on overnight, two nights in a row, because Microsoft had urgent patches to fix their latest whoos-it. I figure theis explorer 8 is buggy right now. I'm also irritated by the latest microsoft/yahoo combo, since I don't like microsoft anyway and yahoo should have kept going it alone.

So viva la revolution!! Or, don't install until you see the whites of their eyes. something like that.

I have done so. I'm not happy with it, personally. Seems to mess up more sites than IE7. ActiveX compatibility in particular seems horrible for now; since I mostly use Firefox, this makes the upgrade even more painful to me.

I upgraded, and it works great!

(Note: I have not used it at all.)
