Mostly working, playing Spore, and being deprived of sleep for various and sundry reasons. Eventually, one day, some time in the far distant future, I will go to bed, and not be woken up for work, or cats, or alarm clock, or helping someone else get up, or god knows what else... I would have to be the one light sleeper in the house ( Read more... )

people that are disappointed with Spore know nothing of the creators and deserve their disappointment.
Get some sleep, the world will still be here. and if it isn't you will be rested and ready to deal with dilemmas to come.

Spore rocks. I just wish the cell stage lasted a little longer. I would love to be able to outfit my cell more. Now, on to getting out of creature level.

I would have been okay if it'd been a little more than what has been done over and over before. They act like it was some sort of huge revamp to gaming and it was a dud.

I really don't care what they act like. I fun it fun and varied, and the ability to build your own critters is great, as is the fact that your actions in early stages have consequences far down the road.

Well, it is what it is. Frankly, I've enjoyed cell and creature mode, however, my ancient XP PC has decided that it will not play tribal mode under any circumstances so I'm stuck. No worries, new machine on the horizon. (The MacMini runs shy on the video gamut, otherwise I'd not have this issue at all). Besides the other half has it so I can watch him play, just as entertaining really.

It's a Sim, there is going to be repetition. I dig creature making so I enjoy it as a nice relaxing eat thy neighbor moment.

I'm looking forward to the NDS release of Spore. I effin' love Maxis' games.
