Wow. They fired us both. Her yesterday, and me today. The details of our terminations are not important, though there is a Level 5 Bullshit Anomaly detected. The timing is. Our lease is up end of next month, and most places require paystubs as proof of employment. We are going to be pretty busy come Tuesday

If you really want to, though we don't really care right now. We'd both been pretty sure we were going to leave as soon as new jobs were found. They just decided to trump up some charges they don't usually fire people for and get rid of us both (probably afraid that if they fire one or the other, the remaining person would 'get revenge' on them or something stupid like that).

And you didn't need to hold in anything, trust me. We'd have understood.

Congratudolences? Funny, another online friend just got into the position of losing job and house a few days ago. and I was commenting to quaryn_dk what freedom it gives - the two main financial ties cut, you can go anywhere you like (within financial constraints) and try for any job you feel could work. Not that I *want* to have it happen to me, though:) Hope you two make the best of it.
