-I am slightly disappointed that (and no, I didn't know this before) iTunes will rip CDs in mp3, but downloads in m4p. I can't use any of the music I buy on my li'l 128mb Muvo. Sad. However, it's not really all that bad, since I am going to get a new music player soon anyway. Recommendations? If not, I'll prolly just get some sort of iPod ( Read more... )

Actually, she has full use of it already. The bruise, when it appears, will be pretty.

The Muvo plays MP3 and WMA only, so I was about to shelve it and move on. I'm not too cheesed about DRMs if I can listen to the music where I want, but I do think the whole DRM thing is a raucous joke in the name of greed. Right now, Winamp is the only software I've found that plays every format I've got my various music in, however, I suppose it's time I just converted everything to a single format anyway.

-WinXP is making it difficult to install some of my old games. C'mon, MicroSoft, don't be a bitch about old software. TAKE IT. TAKE IT LIKE A MAN.

I had that problem too, with our game-loader platform. It wouldn't let me run The Longest Journey due to some DirectX problem. Let me know if you come up with any great way to fix it.

Running the install and game programs in Win95 compatibility mode (in the program's Properties) fixed a lot of problems, but there's still a couple I'm working on. I'll let you know if I have any luck
