Not the first time I've said this, but I still haven't heard any way -- even a jaw-droppingly stupid way -- that marriage equality threatens "traditional" marriage. That is, I don't see how Jim and Jamie (who got married in matching tuxes) threaten my marriage in the slightest, and no one has ever suggested one.

(Except, perhaps. Tom Smith's "Two Guys Kissing Ruined My Life", which is about a guy who suddenly realized how far back in the closet he had been.)

(And ignoring my favorite fact -- "traditional" marriage is about one man and as many women as he can afford to buy from their fathers.)

It's simple. As counterfeit currency devalues all money, and knock-off watches damage the high reputation of Rolex, fake marriages threatens "real" marriage. You know, like mine.

Until the self-annointed protectors of virtue decide that my marriage, deliberately unfruitful, is also not a " real" marriage...
