It depresses me that democracy will not save us because by and large the people are easily led halfwits. The votes of those of us with real concerns, even if there was a suitable group to vote for, are but a drop in the ocean.

Apparently my current abode is in a very safe labour seat occupied by someone who has never gone against the party line. Hmph.

In this instance I think it might be like trying to convince a drone that the queen bee isn't necessarily the one who should be in charge. Still, when the next election starts increasing her visibility I will look into it.

I checked the other day and hopefully I will have a New Zealand passport before my current UK one expires and I have to submit to DNA profiling for a new one, or whatever it is they're planning, which makes me very happy. You could come over to NZ :)

Do they monitor calls via Skype or MSN? I have no idea if this would be different or not (yes, I know I'm supposed to be technical, given my job, but I ain't).
