Happy Rapture!

May 21, 2011 15:32

So, Supernatural didn't air here in Chicagoland.  I had my friend over to watch it so we just wound up watching Jackass Number Two instead, because we are classy.

They're showing it on Sunday but I will be watching my Bulls beat the Heat so I went ahead and watched it online. The video quality sucked but whatcha gonna do.

AND NOW FOR SUPERNATURAL SEASON FINALE FANGIRLISH REACTIONS AND SOME SEMI-COHESIVE OPINIONS )

ep reaction, dean/whiskey, s6, spn

Rapture didn't happen! I'm so relieved! Almost like I thought it would ever happen, haha. :/

I loved the episodes. Gosh, can't wait 'til s7 now.

It's not 6 pm here yet so it still might happen! Heh.

Happy Birthday, one day early! You know, just in case the rapture does wind up happening. :)

Hee, you totally tapped into my brain. I'm with you on 99.9% of your comments and I mean guh just...Dean torturing and Bobby pouring Dean a drink and Dean being all John and show, could you hit any more of my kinks?
The thing I don't agree with? Dean wiping their memories. I feel like show wants me to have the reaction you had. The omg, isn't it sad how much he thinks people can only be happy without him in their lives, but sorry. Nope. I don't buy it. It makes me so mad (actually, I've totally flipflopped on that now after I've watched it a second time) Dean had NO right to take that decision away from them and also? It doesn't make sense once you think it through for more than a second - which I'm sure Dean didn't do.

And I guess the 'whatever else you're taking' are the intriguing little pills Dean offers Sam in Like a Virgin (?) and I'm still hoping they'll make them an issue in S7. Much like I'm still expecting the torturing and alcoholism to become 'a thing'...

Hehe, I know, right?! :D

I do feel like there were a lot of holes in the memory-wiping... They'd be thinking like, why is their car fine? Why does Lisa have a stab wound? Why is their front door busted open and Lisa's boyfriend dead? etc. But I liked the general idea although I get why you didn't. It was at least more interesting than if they died.

And yeah I kept remembering those pills (I think they were in Mannequin) and hoping they'd bring that back so I'm really happy they were kind of mentioned! I was a little surprised/disappointed that nothing more really happened with Dean's drinking but now they have another whole season to get to it, woo!!

Oh, I agree, it's better than them dying, just because we really don't need another woman killed because she slept with a Winchester, but the way they did it just felt like a really lazy way to get rid of the story line without killing them off...I still haven't figured out how I wanted that scene to work, but I know I don't like what they ended up doing. And yes, so many loose ends. There seems to be a dead body of a man I never met in the living room of a house I don't remember moving into. Oh, look, a shotgun just mysteriously appeared in my closet. Ben, do you know why I have a box full of pictures of that guy from the hospital? Hee, I feel like I should write some crack fic ( ... )

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about the fact that it wouldn't make them safer. Good point...

Yeah, I read a while ago that someone from the show said that if it ended with season 6 the fans would be pissed. And they were totally right, it doesn't feel like an ending at all, more like a transition.
