Hello, hallo, haldo. So. I have stuff to say. Lots of suff. One could say that this post aims to be fairly verbose. And they would not be wrong. So I've devided it into sections that might be of interest to the people who... aren't in MN. I can't really say TX anymore. There's no section for the MN-ites because I don't have anything especially new ( Read more... )

It's "sekiraku" (it comes from Twelve Kingdoms, which I have a mild addiction for. Some day, when my Japanese is all awesome, I will buy the as-yet-untranslated books and read them and it will be wonderful. ^_^). And it's really fun! Thanks for telling me about it! ^_^
Btw, didn't you guys have a clan, or something...? I can't really remember.

I read it all! :D :D I approve of all your plans. I hope you have a fantastic time in Japan - you can still ask me any questions at all and please don't forget to text/email me when you're there! You'll have so much time to fill on those long train rides! =P

Miss you.

Ah!! That's right! I meant to ask you about shampoo. Namely, should I buy some over there? How does Japanese shampoo compare, I wonder?
And I'm sorry we didn't get together before I left...I was busy like you would not believe, and all kinds of stressed out, and it only got worse after I left... but yeah, miss you too. At least we finally got that bubble tea... are you ever going to be in st. paul after you graduate?

I brought my own shampoo and I think it lasted me the whole trip, so I didn't get to try out Japanese brands. Well...except the times when my host sister insisted I try her orange-scented stuff, which was actually rather lovely. If you are really really attached to your special U.S. variety, then at least bring a small bottle - like find another tiny container to put an extra special reserve portion in. :D Then if you don't like whatever kind you get there, you'll have that just in case!

I will definitely come back to St. Paul to visit, and I'll try my best to make sure it's while you're still there. :)

I'll be in Tokyo. I've applied to stay with a host family. I hope I get a good one. -.- I didn't know you had an interest in Japan, tho. I'll totally get you an awesome souvenir, if you tell me what you like. And you're not allowed to politely decline the offer, because no one's asked for anything and I've already made extensive plans on how to take a little bit of luggage there and bring lots back. ;P

That's awesome!! I'd really like to study arabic sometime. Seems like the hardest part of arabic would be the wtiting system. I guess it's similar to Japanese in that respect.

And btw, how's New York working out for you, anyway? How's school going for ya?

i can't play any videos games other than my gameboy advance. i forgot that i lent my brother my ps2, and he never brought it home for break DX
that's the same type of zen that my brother has. i wanted a smaller one, but oddly enough the 20 gb size is on newegg but not the creative zen site.
where is the visa place for you? mine's in new york, and they say that i have to apply in person.

Yay indeed! 'Cept I couldn't olay that much today, b/c Nook closed his store. So now I have a house full of fish.
That's sad!! So now your games just sit there and taunt you... : ( Oh, and I've decided that if we actually were able to get a house, I'd totally buy a Wii. Cuz I kinda want one, but there's no way I can justify it right now. Not when Tokyo looms.
Yeah, the creative site is weird like that. They'll have stuff that's not on the website... I wish I'd realized that it came in light blue, tho. We got it at a Best Buy, so it was either white or black.
Mine's in San Francisco, and they said I could just mail it all when I told them I was far away. Tho, actually, I thought it'd be fun to go down there for a weekend or something. : (

yeah. it was like "because of the application process, there's no way you can do it by proxy," which is really awful, cuz the new york embassy has a territory that extends as far as the u.s. virgin islands.
