I had been thinking the same thing! Years ago when I wanted to see Scandinavia there wasn't much to-do about it. But when that movie came out (I forget what it's called), people started paying more attention. I did eventually go to Scandinavia, and it wasn't crowded despite the increase in tourism.
I also thought the same thing of Croatia. (I've never been, but my undergrad advisor did this summer.) People are seeking less expensive places along the Med. Sea to visit. And it only makes sense that Bosnia would see a rise in tourism, too! I'm glad, actually, because it will be good for the economy. I would never be worried that it would be "overcrowded" like France or Italy, but that people are taking an interest is a great thing!
From what I've read, only 10% of tourist to Bosnia are from the States. Then again, the book I read it in was a little old... Late 90s. XD LOL Like that is old... >.>
