Okay, who thinks galoshes are totally disgusting?

I'm buying a pair soon. I got home today and my feet were wrinkly and wet with Katipunan street water (probably mixed with things like dura and engine oil, mmmm). I was wearing slippers, but soaked sneakers or espadrilles are ten times less inviting, and you don't get to wipe your feet off

arrrgh....the prospect of dipping my feet in sewer water makes me feel nauseous. I remember wading thru the streets during Milenyo last year and I was wearing my squash rubbershoes...I was thankful it wasnt a pair of flipflops! When you wear galoshes, do you fit your entire shoe inside or do you go barefoot? haha sorry I is bobs ;)

Your shoe fits in... Yack! I was wearing silver espadrilles once when my feet were soaked. It's more kadiri kasi when you're in a car or something you can't wipe your feet. Then when you have to get out, you have to wear your shoes again! Tapos I was wearing chucks during Fete... my socks were soaked also, even in the car. At least pag tsinelas you can rinse off in a restaurant or something
