The Horror .....

While cleaning cages I throw some clean shavings into a cage - and see something strange.  At first I thought it was bark that it didn't get mulched up.  So I picked it up and it was a dried out dead snake.

Insert scream here!

I'm so scared of snakes that my stomach clenches when driving past a dead one on the road!

sorry to laugh but I can so very much see that happening here..and yes the reaction would be exactly the same. My only hope is that it would happen to Kira and not me *grin* cause she's a shrieker and it would be funny =)

the best part is she's so EASY...we have mice invading the house lately and they've been running amok in the kitchen...mostly in my pantry and doing tons of damage.
She knows they're there...she was digging through the pantry looking for food as always and I said OMG A MOUSE really loudly - she SCREAMED *into the phone I might add..she was yapping with a friend* and starts doing the "omg-jump-up-and-down-waving-the-hands-girly-girl* thing
I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard...

Reread it--the snake was in the SHAVINGS?? Girl, complain to the company, be real dramatic how snakes scared the bejabers outta you and you had to toss the whole bag u were so scared, 10-1 they'll send you a coupon for a free bag of shavings.
