Batman Begins
A couple of random thoughts for you all to pass some time:
1.) The Poop is still there.
2.) Alabama is still coach-less
3.) The Minnesota Twins signed Jeff Freakin' Cirillo?. Let's hope he amounts to more than Tony Bautista ever did. It would be difficult not to though.
4.) Your St. Cloud State University Huskies are ranked 6th in the nation. I can't remember the last time they were ranked that high. It's been a long time.
5.) The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced their Golden Globe Nominations. Of course we all know that the Golden Globes are the Cheese-Nips of Awards, they are still a good precursor to the Oscars (the Cheez-It's). I still contend that Alan Arkin should and will be nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Little Miss Sunshine (2006).
6.) Yesterday, after I dropped off Katie for her test in the morning, I returned to find that, on the across-the-hall-neighbor's door frame, there was...a big, brown, hairy, fucking BAT. A BAT. It was just hanging there...ready to to fly and gouge my eyes with it's little hand-type things on its wings. I carefully tip-toed to the door so that the winged-spawn of Satan didn't hear or see me. Obviously my stealth skills were greater than his Devil Eyes and Ears and I made it back in to my apartment. I was creeped out the rest of the day. I called management and, I believe, they sent that demon to the 7th circle of Hell from whence it came!!!
