Alabama has totally fuxored themselves. They're attempting to lure a coach with lots of potential there, but they know that right now they are famous for chewing up and spitting out coaches before their time is up.

If a coach wants crappy job security, they can coach in the NFL.

Taken seriously, though - who are the coaches Bama actually could hire? My guess is nobody with a great track record would risk his career to coach there!

Maybe Glen Mason would take the job...
