So, despite not really wanting to due to tiredness, I got roped into playing footy last night at 10pm. I was playing in goal and started well with some good saves, but then, I landed badly after one save and basically went over on my wrist. It really hurt, but i carried on. Next time I tried to make a save, I yelled in pain and the ref removed

aww.. I had a suspected scaphoid fracture.. had a plaster and then splint and millions if x-rays (including some bone scans) and they decided it probably wasn't broken but they weren't sure - mine still hurts though a year on as it's probably soft tissue damage :(

Hope yours is ok - I know how painful it is. At least you don't have a cast!
