My TV started to fail last week when it wouldn't power on at first. After a few minutes or so, eventually it would turn on. Ah, the infamous capacitor issue. Repaired a couple motherboards a while back that had bulging capacitors.

If memory serves right, a couple Chinese manufacturers were using sub-spar electrolyte formulation that was supposedly stolen from a well known Japanese capacitor manufacturer at the time.
