The Almost-Manifesto of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson

I've been holding in my love for the BBC's Sherlock, mostly because last week's episode wasn't so bright and shiny as the first, so I wanted to wait and see what the final part of this mini series would be like before I would explode about it. And let me tell you, it delivered. I could go on about plot all day, but there's a million places for that ( Read more... )

YES. Sherlock, a cold-blooded, inhuman monster? Here, watch as he flips the fuck out over John being in trouble. WHERE'S YOUR BEAST NOW?

I love this.

I especially love this:

Are you all right?" That right there is the sentence that could launch a thousand slash ships.

That should become a popular term.

It totally should. :P But seriously that little sentence just said everything about how Sherlock feels about John, oh and then how the gun in Sherlock's hand is shaking after he removes the bomb? Wow!

Y'know, you could be a professor, OF SLASH. My goodness, I didn't think of half these things as points for the slashers, as it were, but you have so many good points here. I love how Sherlock immediately doesnt wanna share John with Sarah. And of course the ending, when Moriartys gone and he net drops his facade... that was fantastic ( ... )

A professor of slash would be the best job EVER. I would go to work every day like it was Christmas morning. :P I'm strangely okay with three episodes, mostly because they're the length of movies so it's like having three movies. The 2009 movie suffers because there's only one of them and I don't think I've even heard about the sequel yet.

And that sounds awesome! I swear I have watched that as a kid or rather my parents did. It sounds right up my alley and I think I'll wait until next month (when I don't have a big bang to worry about) to watch it and go deeper into this Sherlock business. I'm always such a fandom late comer, but I am a dedicated late comer, lol.
