You have GOT to read Our Thing (in which a very casual thing escalates), Airplane Mode (only dirty text fic I've ever loved), Five Minutes to Midnight (silly porn is the best porn), and Twenty Minutes to Midnight (crazy shooter forces Chris to do something bad to save Zach, a long fic.) Then for AU I highly suggest Chris, Nick, and the Nanny (funny as hell), You Find Your Home (homeless!Chris), and the Perks of Leadership (speech writer ZQ and senator CP!)
This made my Sunday, totally. I don't really understand how this makes me SO HAPPY AND EXCITED OMG but it does :D
I do think it's the rarity of them interacting that makes it more special, and also that we didn't actually know if they spent much time together outside business/film things. Sure there was that car ride but they live in the same neighborhood. this is quite clearly Chris coming to visit his friend on the other side of the country. AND IT IS GLORIOUS :3

OH WELL IN THAT CASE, THEY HUGGED, WENT OUT TO LUNCH TOGETHER, AND JERKED EACH OTHER OFF IN THE DINER'S BATHROOM. NO ONE SHALL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE, IT'S LOGICAL.
I need to stop reading so much trek fic and try to find at least a couple of good Holmes/Watson fics. I have no reason not to; I loved the movie and I love the pairing, I guess my mind is busy and putting other slash on hold, lol.

I think I would die happily if someone wrote a fic where Holmes and Watson ran into Kirk and Spock, because Kirk and Holmes would be flailing with each about something, and Spock and Watson would be off on the side letting out long-suffering sighs. ...I clearly need to drag this idea over to the SH!kink_meme.
