Delicious is definitely one of the finer words for this pairing. \o/

To be fair, Kirk insulted him too. I thought at first he was saying "you're half human!" to try to break him of the anger spell thingy, but he actually says "YOU HALF HUMAN!" and then they both break out of the trance because it's so flipping weird that Kirk is insulting Spock like that. SO slashy, lol, especially when Kirk goes all speechless and kind of apologizes by grabbing Spock's shoulders and is all "RACIST REMARKS ARE RACIST AND WRONG PLS TO BE FORGIVING ME BB." I think the number one person I hated the most was the navigator guy in Balance of Terror. There was no outside influence messing with the dude; he just genuinely was prejudiced of Spock, just because of how he looked. :/ It makes me want to cuddle Spock and tell him that his logic is super awesome. ♥

Okay, I def heard that line as, "You're half human!" as in, "Stop being difficult, Spock - you're one of us!" which insulting insofar as it is humancentric, but it's not NEARLY as insulting as YOU HALF-HUMAN. So, yeah - whoah! That def. changes the episode, because KIRK insulting SPOCK? No. Does not happen. In fact, I've been noticing a pattern wherein it is only when Kirk is absent that the rest of the crew has more problems with Spock. Mostly this is because if Kirk is gone, Spock is in charge, and their styles of command are v. different, but I also think it's because Kirk ALWAYS has Spock's back, even with Bones. In BoT Kirk gets pissed off in .03 seconds when navigator is being a racist dickwad ( ... )
