Refractions: Track Service and Last Stop (4/4)

"Spock. Spock!" Jim said, but he knew it was useless. Spock was gone.

"The shuttle is going to overshoot the Enterprise," Bones said tonelessly into his communicator. "Try beaming Spock aboard,"

"The transporters are not at full power," a crewman answered in confusion. "It would be dangerous ( Read more... )

Incoherency is what I strive for! :D I must admit, the Spocks always win the day.

You know the movie Multiplicity? That's how it should be with Spocks. Oh shit, not another fic idea...to the kink meme batman! lol

D'aww, thanks! I was hoping my characterization would fall flat, because it's actually kind of hard to keep characters in character when they're AU versions of themselves.

I had to go back and read the final, even though I really should be working. Oops!

I am absurdly happy with the idea of three Scottys arguing and engineering together.

B universe Kirk is my favorite for his indulgence with his crew members (oh god, Chekov's freak out over Sulu) or even with the other universe crew members (rock on Uhura!). He also gives a great intercom announcement and warning.

It's fabulous to see how Kirk, Bones and Spock work together, supporting, teasing and agrivating each other. The gradual build up of Kirk and Spock, in seeing how they could have turned out, is very sweet.

I also enjoy the innocence of universe A, for how their world has allowed them to exist without major loss despite the threat of Nero, although they have hard times coming if the plot is any indication. For almost the same reason, I enjoy universe C in how they are so ruthless and crazed, and hopefully they will be allowed easier times to come.

Thank you! It was a pleasure working with you!

Compliment city! Overload of authorial bliss! But seriously, you reading it again is awesome. I approve highly!

I have a soft spot for universe A. It seems like they have it completely easy, and they do, but they're actually very miserable, those Kirk and Spocks. Kirk is alone, and his greatest fear is being alone, so he's too dedicated to his job and he has no real motive outside of it. Spock is going through kolinahr for god's sake, and it's actually not going well for him, because he's missing something. Gee, wonder what that could be. :)

You were an awesome person to work with too! Me=lucky little bitch.

This is lovely! I like how you showed how the effects of Nero changed each universe in different ways. Very philosophical. =D

Ooh, thank you! I'm glad someone noticed the Nero factor. That bastard really manages to screw up timelines, doesn't he?

Thank you, I kind of feel like it's a rollercoaster ride whenever I picture it in my mind, so epic win!

Hell yes it's studying. This stuff is srs business and they both have stars and stuff in common. And see I educate, so now you know what stars are made of (actually I'm crap with science and you'd probably be able to tell me all kinds of stuff, since that's about all I know about stars it seems.)
