Srs business poll and other stuff

First order of business: Below is an important poll (the poll hates me, just answer or something. FAIL) to some research I'm doing about the differences between those who have Kirk/Spock as their OTP and those who have Kirk/Bones as their OTP. I've gotten a little obsessed with reading what others say about their reasoning for shipping Kirk/Bones

See I thought it wasn't about not liking Spock/Uhura for everyone, but I'm curious to see if the opinion is even on that score or if you're one of the exceptions.

And yes, Kirk's smile is so different when he looks at Spock, it's just ♥. :D

Hmm, did you trying going directly to this post or are you answering from your e-mail comment? Try that and if it doesn't work, fuck it, lol.

I don't even like Arthur/Gwen on the show, so that sucks because it makes the show much less enjoyable. :( It may make me seem shallow, but really I was apparently more into the show because of the slash, and now that there isn't, the show wasn't that great to me by itself, if that makes sense. It sounds like I'm a douchebag, but there you go. *shrugs*

My OTP is Kirk/Spock, but I will happily read absolutely any pairing (or gen! God, I love good Trek gen!)... but only in Star Trek fandom. In every other fandom, I am the sort of very strong shipper who either doesn't want the OTP broken or doesn't care about non-OTP characters. Like, I won't read dS that isn't Fraser/Kowalski.

Basically I'm just weird. Also Trek was my very first fandom; maybe that has something to do with it.

That's really cool because you can read lots of big bang fics, so jealous.

And I don't know, Kirk/Spock has become my main OTP and it's stupid how territorial I've become over them, especially TOS. I've never had a fandom in which you could not persuade or argue with me about a pairing's rightness, even Due South (though it's the definitely second in terms of OTP. I need to watch a few episodes, I'm jonsing for it again.)
