I actually always thought Colin looks a lot like JC Chasez, and their features are so similar, but I can't figure out what makes JC more conventionally attractive, at least to me.

Oh, I forgot to check haircut when I voted -- I should edit that. Haircut makes a big difference.

Huh, they kind of have a small resemblance, I see that. And OMG, cheekbones are a FEATURE, let me tell you. I really do think his weight has something to do with it like a person above said. Then his cheekbones would fit his face more and his ears wouldn't be so noticeable.
