I know it's come up before with me so this isn't my most fresh blog.

I think art teaches us wrong.

Or maybe there's something wrong with some of us that we are made wrong by art and the problem isn't epidemic.

I maintain that the mecanics that make entertainment can not be applied to life because rarely does it work out as they dictate.

I think that we need to distinguish art and entertainment. They share qualities certainly, and there are many times when one can be the other, but there are always going to be instances where they're not. Movies may contain many artistic qualities, but that doesn't mean that Raptor Island, featuring Lorenzo Lamas is art.

Mostly, I dislike a great deal of entertainment, because in the real world nothing is that black and white. Or to put it another way, it's not always just the good forest fairies against the evil lumberjacks. Fucking Fern Gulley.
