So the Mobile Mencken, my old IBM laptop, is coming out of retirement.  The Timken branch of the Writing Lab has no computers or internet connection, so the little black trooper that I lugged back and forth to Tanigawa Junior High School every day of the week is going to be getting stuffed into my backpack once again.  That way the Traveling-Tesla
