THIS. This is so good! I have such a crazy soft spot for Earth-era Sam and Galen friendship. I love that Galen is chickening out, but Sam's wanting to push on. Ironic call-forward to hybrid!Sam! And how Sam gets Galen to shoot him--inspired.

I hope you won't take it as some kind of backhanded compliment when I say I thought this was really interesting. I don't mean it in any bad way!

I like Sam's fearlessness here, and I like the nods to both Chief's best and worst traits from the show: his compassionate loyalty and his stupidly dangerous temper.

I'm glad you like the depictions! Chief definitely has moments of volatile temper (sob Cally sob).

I really enjoyed this--I'm so curious about the stories from Earth 1, and the history of the resurrection discovery. Sam and Galen were in perfect voice here, just how I would imagine them in this setting.

I'm with you! We need more Final Five stories circa Earth 1. So much undiscovered fandom territory! And I'm glad you thought they were true to character! I just heart their bromance.
