AUGH!

Downloading the new patch for World of Warcraft (the patch that's the preview for the new expansion, so it's Kinda a Big Deal), but my DSL is stupid slow. I've been forced to download manually from a non-blizzard source, and while that allowed me to avoid the 12 hour download the Warcraft client was giving me... it's still a 4 hour download.

Squee! He's so cute! I've made it my mission to attempt to get as many vanity pets as possible...so to the Deadmines for a kitty or a parrot! :D

Go to options, select Download After Exiting World of Warcraft. It's a quick and easy way to download patchs without them getting in the way, plus you can stop them if you need the bandwidth for something else. It avoids the hole 12 hour thing because Blizzard puts the patchs up ahead of time for download even if they're not live yet.
