Three things strike me watching this:

1: This is awesome and I suddenly want to listen to the entire Benny line

2. Brax is evil? What? From what little I know isn't he the Doctor's older brother or something?

3. Big Finish has managed (with what I can only assume was a smaller budget) to make a far better 3D animation than the Beeb did for that Ten at Area 52 thing.

Also, thanks for the link!

1: YES IT IS AND YOU CERTAINLY SHOULD!!!

2: Not evil so much, just incredibly manipulative. And I don't recall it ever even being implied that Brax is the Doctor's older brother. He is just another Time Lord.

3: From what I know, there was no budget for this. Alex did it all for free.

Re: 2

No explicit mention ever in the Big Finish world, though they came mighty close when Six and Evelyn crossed paths with Benny and Braxitel in the '100 Days of the Doctor' episode of '100'. Though that particular implication only works I guess if you were sold on that had previsouly been given in the final New Adventures novel. If you are unaware of that particular reference then I guess it might leave one completely oblivious.

2. I don't know - he's pretty evil now. Could be argued that this is to do with the events of other excellent Big Finish mini series Gallifrey, or it's just that he's just deranged now.

Also as is pointed out below, he's not officially the Doctor's brother, but it has been hinted (largely in books by Justin Richards, who created Brax), and I like to believe it's true. But it is largely fanon.

On a different note - I loved Dead and Buried. It was a lovely idea in the first place to do something in that sort of media, and it works really well.
