I think I figured out WHY I have trouble hooking up with women sometimes. It's because 90% of my friends are geeky guys, and I need more cute female friends.

Hooking up with women and being their friend are two different things. Don't be that guy who only wants to be friends with women so he can someday seduce them.

I don't mean it that way. What I mean is that if I knew more women, there'd be a greater possibility of me being able to date one of them in the future, if I wanted to do that. I'd feel more comfortable dating someone I knew than a random stranger.

Unless I'm doing this dating thing wrong. Maybe that's my problem, I don't know how to find a mate...

I've always found my dates through OKCupid. Though that's of course easier for women that for men, unfair as it is.

And I think it's important to figure out what you want out of a relationship. Do you want a casual hook-up, dating, or are you going for the long-term years forever thing? You should be upfront about that to yourself *and* the people you find.

I'm not sure what I want in a relationship. I think because I haven't been in any kind of sexual realtionship in a while, a part of me wants a FWB-kind of thing. But at the same time I feel uncomfortable just hooking up with a random stranger for sex.

I'm going to write a full journal about this I think, but I have a backlog of journals I want to write and I either forget about them or I'm busy.
