I suck at welding and my job and women

Well, I was relieved that I had finished TIG welding, but now I'm starting Stick Welding and I suck at it as well. In order to strike an arc between the stick electrode and the metal, you gently brush the electrode across the metal. I'm also starting to see why men and women have so many conflicts.

LOL, maybe because they're men... and women? It's like saying, gosh, I know why apples and pears are different. Of course we're all human, but men and women are pressed into very specific gender roles and have specific biological differences, as well.

Also, not saying how they really feel isn't behaviour exclusive to women. If anything, I've seen guys do this WAY more often. The tendency for women is rather to overthink their feelings and have their own feelings not be clear to themselves - that's why they might not be clear to others. Instead of picking a side and sticking with it, they weigh back and forth. It's hard to tell someone what your clear feelings about something are, when you aren't even sure yourself. I think men may be more likely to quickly make up their minds, even when their feelings aren't sure, they are more decisive ( ... )

Well it all started with me hanging around a thread where someone was drawing some SD art for me with both our characters in it. And while I waited I was talking about the fact that I was looking for other art and finding artist that wouldn't draw art for any kind of commission, even though I liked their art ( ... )
