I found out that at a job fair I missed, they had a employer at a place where I'd be overqualified for. And I missed it!! I could have gotten that job. ;_;

To be fair, different O2 sensors from different manufacturers might look different. The fact that he selected the wrong engine, on the other hand... there's just no excuse for that.
Also, sometimes the indexes are wrong, or are incomplete. Sometimes the model changes mid-year and the indexes don't reflect that. That's even more aggravating, because then I can't blame the guy behind the counter. For a 1987 Nissan Stanza I used to have, I had to purchase a distributor cap for the previous model year. The "correct" distributor cap didn't fit. It took trips to about five different auto parts stores and physically bringing in the old one to show that it was indeed wrong to finally get the right part.
