An update! *claps hands happily* And a pre-Thanksgiving update, too! Am I wrong in thinking that Brad's plans include a certain hip-swayin' Dartmouthian?

An actual update? I know, it's shocking, isn't it? *laugh* So many stories, so little time. I have such a bad habit of letting my various sagas gather dust all too often. But I've got six chapters down for this one and four chapters left so with any luck I'll get this puppy finished before the end of the year.

And no, there's absolutely nothing wrong with thinking that Brad's turkey day plans involved a particular Dartmouth alumnus. Because they did, they totally did.
;)
Never underestimate the power of Nate.

“I’m going down to Philly with a buddy of mine,” Joe responded, tossing his screwdrivers into their drawer. “He’s got family there and they offered to put me up and feed me for the weekend.”

Guarnere!

One of my roommates is taking me up to Tonawanda to meet his folks.”

And Skip!

It's like a BoB smorgasboard...

Welcome back to the land of writing. This was awesome.

Ding ding ding! You are correct on both those identifications. I love mentioning characters without actually using their names. It's fun that way.

And oh, it's so good to be back and writing. I've missed this place.

Your dialogue makes me happy (and wish to pet the shiny banter, but I don't know that the banter would appreciate that) and in adoration of the way this is totally those guys voices captured upon the page (especially the working in of Joe Toye Day, which really needs to be a national holiday. Also, your Brad Colbert voice is made of win and snark, which is only as it should be).

And celebrations for writers block being waved good-bye.

I'm sure the banter would pretend not to like being petted but would secretly purr and rub up against your ankles in search of more attention that it will steadfastly deny seeking. *laugh* ;)
Funny thing about these chapters: I always end up having to pare them down a bit because the guys get to rambling so much that the word counts keep getting away from me. What a bunch if chatterboxes, huh?
And yes, Joe Toye Day should be celebrated. It would certainly be a hell of a lot more entertaining than Thanksgiving.

YAY! This was awesome ^_^ I want Joe Toye Day Dinner :P (Gosh, that's kinda hard to say xD) Loved this update <3

“Well ain’t you just a fucking fountain of information?” Mike remarked, smirking.

Yeah, it's a real tongue-twister all right. Forget about Peter Piper and his peck of pickled peppers. Never mind red leather, yellow leather, and lavender leather. Joe Toye Day Dinner is the new thing to say five times fast. *chuckle*
Glad you liked this!

Aye aye, capn! ;)

It's weird, but I can hear their voices in my brain as I read it.
