I haven't seen the new ep yet (so please don't spoil me on anything else!), but I did spoil myself for the major death because I don't have the emotional resources to go in blind.

Me too. She was totally my girl and I just adored her, and Crystal. It's such a bummer. I wish her luck, but it's too bad she got itchy feet.

But as long as Stiles and Derek are still on the show, I'm mostly good. They are the dealbreakers for me.

I'm just glad that I already gave up on the show a few weeks ago so that I can keep myself from getting too emotionally-involved in this development.

I think this season has been amazing, but this is just such a shame. It was her call, though, so what can you do? Sigh.

I LOVED Allison. So much.

As you said, giving Allison a meaningful death is a better way to honour Crystal's work than just shipping her off like with Jackson, but I still didn't really like it that much. She deserved a much more epic, world saving sacrifice kind of death, to really cement what a hero she was. I'm very sad. Lydia's scream broke me most.

I also don't think shipping her off would work at all for the character and story. Jackson was way more expendable. It's such a massive bummer all the way around. She was my girl! I really disagree with Crystal that there wasn't more to do with the character. I mean, come on. But clearly she wanted out for whatever reason, so c'est la vie.

I was shocked by her death. I honestly didn't believe she was really dead, like staying dead, until I read that Crystal wanted to leave. I liked Allison well enough but she wasn't really high on my favorites list so I can take this death easier than if it had been one of my top faves.

ITA on it being wise to kill Allison. Crystal wanted out and just letting Allison go join Jackson in boarding school would've been lame. Her death gives us so much more drama and character impact.

And there's really no compelling reason I can think of for Allison to leave town. Not of her own free will, anyway. It's better to just wrap up the character. Even though I will miss her so much! :((

Oooh, was there an issue working with Daniel? I'm totally out of it. Stiles is really the only deal-breaker for me. Dylan is so amazing. I wonder what this will mean for Daddy Argent. I hope we'll continue to see as much of him.

I honestly don't know if it was a problem with Daniel, but they dated for quite a while and then he dumped her, and I can imagine that then being paired up with him onscreen would not have been her favourite thing ever. But really it's totally just speculation on my part and might be utterly groundless. Just made me wonder, since I feel like something had to happen for her to up and quit the show after only three seasons.

Agree about Dylan! He's incredible. And I really hope Daddy Argent is still a major player next season. :/
