This is great because I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the contenders' names' being thrown out there. My head was spinning trying to keep up and now I have a significantly better handle on who I'm watching and what to expect from each skater.

I think and hope the ladies' competition will be fantastic. Of any skating discipline, ladies' seems to be the one where a great surprise could happen. Barring a surprise, I expect Julia and Yuna to be the two ladies fighting for the top of the podium.

Carolina skated beautifully in the team event. I was in awe of her even though I know she is more than capable of such a skate. I, too, hope she has a great skate!

I will be delighted and not surprised at all if Kaetlyn makes top 10. She has something that we don't see in Canadian ladies as often as I'd like.

Will you be able to watch live or dvr the event? I don't have a dvr and will watch the webcast replay on CBC. I've enjoyed CBC's coverage of the Olympics. I only wish the skating was shown earlier in evening recap.

I've been watching live. Luckily I can since I work from home. Free skate should be interesting!

I'll be rooting for Ashley and Gracie, of course, but mostly I just hope all the ladies skates better than the guys did.

I will be watching to see the women kick ass and take names and to watch Little Miss Flexible bring her leg TO HER HEAD OMG. O_o

Kaetlyn. I mean, seriously. I can only think of the Starbucks guy going, "Caitlin with a C?" And then, "Actually, no. It's with a K and an A and an E and there's a Y in there, too." :D
