It's all about positive thinking. IF WE WATCH IT, IT WILL COME. And Dylan really was dressed like Derek. I'm still giggling over it.
Had a blast, dearest! We'll make a date to watch the tail end of S2 and then it's TEEN WOLF TUESDAYS, which is awesome because I usually *hate* Tuesdays. BEST PLAN. BEST LIFE.
- I've seen several complaints about the finale not being more oomph-y or not having a cliffhanger or whatever. To which I say, I'm GLAD. The tone and storylines were perfect for this show and left me totally excited for season 2.
- *draws hearts around P/E* FYI, I'm totally plotting out a fic about their separation while she's healing/"taking care of her great-aunt" and her return home. And it will be romantic fluff, or as fluffy as they can get. And it will be glorious, if I do say so myself.
- KR just sitting there immobile, acting all with her eyes as she listened to that tape was Emmy-worthy in and of itself.
- Martha should just legally change her name to Poor, Poor Martha Westerfeld.
- Loved Dylan in New Girl. I wonder if the Derek Hale look, which I'm ashamed to admit didn't even really register with me, was intentional. LOL!
- Hesitantly looking forward to TW S3 but keeping my expectations in the basement. Lower than the basement, actually.
I'm glad too! I mean, my heart was pounding when Elizabeth was walking to the car, and then when they were being chased. I think there was enough excitement, and I'm glad there was no major cliffhanger. I feel like it's kind of retro in that way. Which is appropriate. :D
And it will be glorious, if I do say so myself.
GLORIOUS! I can't wait!
I really want to keep my expectations for S3 low, but I can't help myself! I'm too much of an optimist. Sigh.
Oh yeah, totally enough excitement. I loved when Philip was just like "...Elizabeth" and scurried away to save her. And that's a good way to describe it - retro! Cliffhangers really do seem to be kind of the "modern" way of doing season finales. I'm for one am getting sick of them, honestly. It feels like shows don't have enough confidence in their ability to hang onto their audience unless they have some explosive cliffhanger. Telling a nice, contained-in-a-season story while still giving plenty of hints for the future seems refreshing.
Maybe not all-caps GLORIOUS! I don't want to raise too many expectations here!
I watch New Girl, it is quite enjoyable! But Dylan was extra awesome!
I have super low expectations for season 3 of TW, but I'm just so damn excited that Dylan will be back on screen regularly that I don't even care about the lack of Sterek.(And given that Stiles and Derek don't have a SINGLE scene together in the first half of the season, I think it's 100% safe to assume Jeff has no intention of ever making Sterek happen. I mean, he'd at least keep in the occasional scene between them if he did, have vague future plans, right?)
No matter, I'm just in it for Dylan at this point. And Papa Stilinski.

Yeah, I think -- whatever their screentime is in S3 -- that Sterek will 100% never, ever happen. I think Jeff has made that very clear in many of his interviews. He's got his vision, and it's not part of it. Also, we can't have nice things, so. :|
I do enjoy the show as a whole, and I'm excited about the Derek flashbacks and such. Hoping for the best!
Ooh yes, I'm excited about the Derek flashbacks too! I don't really trust Jeff not to disappoint me in the end re: Derek though. ITA he has his vision and he doesn't care what the fans want if it doesn't align with it. Looking forward to more fic from YOU! :D
I don't trust him either. Sigh. I just...why can't we have nice things? And not even Sterek actually getting together -- just more scenes, and more emotional resonance for all the characters instead of sacrificing it for the sake of plot. Well, let's hope he surprises us.
Aw, thank you! We'll see. I make no promises. But once you're done school I expect fic from YOU! :D
