Okay, so I've had time to read it properly instead of just squeeing and flailing, and it really is so lovely. The pacing of it is perfect - it just keeps you reading without you even noticing [which, I find, is something you rarely see in so much plotty fic: it's usually either much too fast or much too slow, but this just works]. And the way you portray Easy is just wonderful and heart-warming and guh. How can you not love those boys?

Poor Trigger, though. Promise he'll be okay?

wow, I read it, then I went back and read all three parts again. This is really impressive. I love how the Easy Company spirit really shines throught, I bet Dick couldn't stop them going on that mission even if he tried.

I haven't commented on the previous stories or the last part of this story, but I'm really enjoying it! I haven't seen Band of Brothers (though I plan to), but the characters are painted so vividly I really do feel like I know them without having watched the miniseries, and I'm getting so excited to see the next installment.
