I grew up on LA Law, which was before your time, and this show really reminds me of it. It's about the characters and their relationships; they have their cases of the week, but it's not a procedural like L&O. To me this is a good old-fashioned legal drama before DEK tried to ruin the genre. ;)

Very excited that I have two seasons to watch this summer, and that Scott Porter will be on in S2!

Good wife gets SO MUCH BETTER and richer and more awesome. It is, hands down, the most intelligently *adult* show on the air right now, IMHO, with all the psychological complexity and grey areas and emotional realism you could hope for.

And Julianna's character is *epic* in her awesomeness and toughness and vulnerability and just *aahhh* it's so good. I don't even think of it as a legal show anymore, even though that remains the center of it.

Eeee, I can't wait! I'm enjoying it so much already. I was saying above that it reminds me of LA Law, which I adored as a kid. A legal drama, but really about the characters -- not a procedural.

I love The Good Wife too. I've been sorry that not more people
haven't commented but now they have!! lol
Since there aren't two men who can get together none of the
fanfic writers are on board, so far.
However, with the last episode of the season, we see a new side
of Klaminda, right? My dears, who knows what will happen..
She is some piece of work..
