I'm going to watch V tonight since I was out last night. I don't want spoilers, but did anyone love it? Hate it? Were ambivalent about it?

I'm also definitely adding White Collar and Sons of Anarchy to my to-watch list.

for the past couple of weeks, i have been glued to my screen during mad men--that's what i love about this show. it can start slowly, but it gains momentum until it's crashing down on you, like when betty said "open this drawer" the week before last. it was amazing.

i can't wait until sunday, except that then mad men will be gone from my life for another nine months. :(

Seriously riveting stuff. It builds and builds and then you're like, I CAN'T BELIEVE BETTY IS ACTUALLY FINDING OUT!

I really want Sal to get his job back. When Don said "you people," I gasped. Don really hurt my feelings there! I expect better of him.

I used to watch Sons of Anarchy and really liked it, but I finally stopped watching it a couple weeks ago. The storylines lately are either boring me or getting on my nerves. It's a well-acted show, though, and I like most of the cast.

Ugh, Scientology. It will always depress me that Jason Dohring is one.

I'll still give Anarchy a try, but that's good to know.

I know, I hate it when people I really like are Scientologists because I just hate everything that "church" stands for. Money-grubbing liars. At least JD and Elisabeth were born and raised in it, so I can understand how they're sucked in. :/

We almost missed V! I just happened to catch a status update on FB at about 10:59, which was just in time to PVR the last timeshifted showing on CTV. Phew! Stark would have been so depressed. Speaking of Polly PeeVee, since Halloween occupied our entire lives, we are so behind in TV that I am worried we are going to fill up our drive. It's actually making me feel guilty and overwhelmed at the thought of catching up instead of, y'know, excited to watch my shows.

By the way, did you hear Southland got picked up by TNT? Whoo!

That and GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GO SOMEWHERE PUBLIC.

Hahah, this is my main issue with 99% of all horror movies.

I'm missing yoga again tomorrow - it's my first day of work and I have decided I would rather reward myself with burritos than exercise.

Glad you didn't miss it! Of course you could always come over here if you did. :) I know, sometimes having shows pile up is surprisingly stressful!

Yes, yay for Southland! I forgot to post about that.

Burrito over yoga?? What is the world coming to!? Break a leg! Or should I just say good luck?

I liked V quite a bit, and I am looking forward to seeing where they go with it. The pace was a bit quick when compared to the original, but I kind of see why they chose to pace it the way they did.

I am on my way right now to go see Paranormal Activity. I am so curious.

V was ok. Without giving anything away, I think they tried to put too much into the first episode.
