So, it only took two computers, downloading 234789274893789 programs and much frustration, but I finally was able to convert, edit and upload the Toronto Living promo piece on Spring Awakening with Christy, Blake, Steffi and my beloved Matt Doyle. This will only be of interest to approximately ten people on my flist, but whatever. Enjoy!

TiVo Desktop will not work with my laptop (I believe Vista is to blame), so I despaired of ever getting the show off my TiVo in the first place. But last week I had the brainwave of trying it with my old XP laptop, and voila. Once it was on my current laptop, I had to convert it from a .TiVo file and then fiture out how to edit the clip out of the half hour show. So it was one program to convert to an MPEG, then another program to go to AVI, then it was really hard to find something free that I could edit with that wouldn't leave a big ol' watermark. I just removed five programs from my computer that I'd tried and wouldn't do what I wanted. Gah! Anyway, at least now it's done!

Yeah, the clips showing Kyle must have been confusing for the non-fans, although I guess they wouldn't really know which person Melchi was in the clips.

I love that it can still hit me like that nearly a year later.Isn't it amazing how that happens? I hadn't listened to it in a while, and the other day I put on BoL (from the Matt Toronto boot, which is my

I was totally thrilled to see that Matt is doing so well. He was my number one pick and I was so disappointed when he came in second on "The Search for Joseph. He has true STAR quality.
