I caught up on ATWT today at lunch and I have to say I am really enjoying Luke's campus election storyline. (Also loved that the writers had many of the characters mention that they were going out to vote in the presidential election.) After boring the crap out of me for months, Luke and Noah are interesting again! Huzzah!

Hee. I love how he still gets under Luke's skin after all this time. Not that he was ever worthy of Luke's affections (terrible casting job; I'm sure he's a super nice guy, but acting isn't his forte), but I'm really enjoying seeing some of Luke's old issues return. I wonder if he'll be hitting the bottle again? Being the angst whore I am, I hope so! :D

I think Luke has more unresolved feelings for Kevin than he is willing to admit. Kevin can still get to him. And there is a way that Kevin looks at Luke, like he's struggling to control his own feelings. Yeah, those two need at least one good make out session. *G*

Gosh, I thought that you said "when I saw the movie in the '20s", I just could not understand. But I get it now. I am really liking Luke and Noah these past few episodes; it's really interesting, I think, a lot better than other crap they've been doing. I really like the whole Luke-Kevin dynamic, because I do not think that Luke is completely over him at all. Watching Noah deal with it all is great.

it was a little weird seeing him in the movie after having only seen him on ER. for one thing, i couldn't take my eyes off of his hair:)

We had exactly the same experience with the Fame movie when I was a kid--we were waaay too young for a lot of that stuff, so my mom turned it off as soon as Leroy's friend started with the string of expletives. I watched the whole thing a few years later, and I think my mom did the right thing at the time.

My parents were good about letting us watch things if one of them was there, and aside from the profanity, it all sailed over my head. I had no idea the ballerina was getting an abortion! Heh.

I really wish they wouldn't remake Footloose, especially with Zac. Sometimes the original just needs to stand on its own. I understand wanting to update it to reach a new generation, but Zac is no Kevin Bacon.

Oh well.
