This is sweet! I so enjoy Academy fic and adorable Chekov at the Academy is fun. I love the Pavel & Hikaru and Uhura & Sulu friendships. I think it's got promise. I'm interested to see how Chekov acts in their first encounter! I imagine him totally tripping over his own words and blushing like a bowl of borscht! :)

A couple of minor things though: it is Gaila, not Gailia. :)
And I did struggle a bit reading this because it switches back and forth between past and present tense. Perhaps find a beta reader for your next installment! You would probably get more readers that way too.

oh! thanks very much! yeah I am looking for one, haven't had any luck yet. It's my first fic so I kinda just went and wrote, but i did notice that, the switching back and forth. I'll try to read over it and fix it.(i think I fixed it all now, I'll check again later) Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. I'll look for a BETA and also start chapter 2.
