I really like the reluctant, distrustful relationship you've got set up between Guy and Robin. You could have tried to re-create the late-S3 relationship between them, but this is far more believable for the setting and events.

They're certainly not on a fast road to become friends ;)

I have to say that I could actually see some kind of cooperation between them more believably in season 2 than in season 3, as they don't have the tragedy of Guy killing Marian in between them then.

That's a good point. I just have a hard time seeing Guy aligning with Robin before bottoming out-- but then again, I wouldn't have called it in S3 either, lol. :)

I felt that Robin was a bit too ~friendly~ with Guy by the end of s3 (or maybe that was just my impression of it)... he had killed Robin's wife after all, no matter that they ~needed~ to work together. In s2 Marian could have rather been a force that could have brought them to cooperate imo (as in the fic) instead of creating an even bigger issue between them.
