In the cut are 7 summaries - please comment to this post with the number and title of the story you'd like to claim. I will strike out the stories as they are claimed. This post will remain open until every story is picked - everyone will get paired up with an artist!
Every artist who signed up and wants to make art WILL get to choose a story. Once the first round of claims have gone through, we will allow those artists who did not get to make a claim choose a story to do art for.
We will post a master list with the full list of authors and artists as soon as claims have been completed. Authors, you may contact your artist once you see they have claimed your fic, but we ask that you keep it a secret until we post the full list later this week:)

1. The Apocalypse Aversion
Pairing(s): Sheldon/Amy and Leonard/Penny

Summary: In the 24 hours after a major disaster, Sheldon and Leonard find love in a hopeless place.This is an AU fic in which Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj meet Amy and Penny during the events following a major earthquake. On the Saturday morning of the disaster, Penny is finishing the graveyard shift at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, Leonard and Sheldon are at the comic book store picking up a special order from Stuart, Howard and Raj are at Howard's house as Mrs. Wolowitz is making tabouli, and Amy is working at the lab. As the four groups roam the streets of Pasadena in search of food and water.
2) Walk Through This World With Me

A summary for artists: The world goes to hell while Sheldon is home in Texas. With his twin by his side, they fight for survival amidst tragedy. Across America in Nebraska, Penny and her sister escape, though not unscathed. Summary: Urban fantasy AU. Penny steps through a crack in the wall, and then things get complicated. The one where Penny moves to LA, steps into Second World (a magical world sharing the same space as Earth), finds out she has magic, and then still has to live her life. (Or: studying magic, working in a magic bookshop, going to auditions, playing match-maker, saving the world(s), and trying to make it big is all Quite Enough without also falling in love with one Sheldon Cooper, thankyouverymuch.)

Summary: Penny makes lists, lots and lots of lists, of all the places she wants to travel and the things she wants to do and who she wants to be. She hides them in her sock drawer and forgets about them until she makes a new list. Lists that will later become a reminder of all her failures. But maybe this time she'll get the kick in the ass she needs to get it all together.
5) Superhero Names
Pairing(s): Stuart/Leonard, Stuart/OMC, Stuart/OFC. Briefest of allusions to Stuart/Kripke, just for lols.
Rating: R (M) - Aiming for "10 pm timeslot, but still network TV" (Started out nc17, but I've been trimming back, but there might be a few references peppered in that I haven't deleted yet.)
Any warnings/spoilers: Drug use. So many drugs. Depression. Unplanned pregnancy. Adoption. Infidelity. Homelessness. Also extraordinarily casual sex, parade of original characters. Juicers/raw foodies as played for entertainment.
A summary for artists: Initially inspired by the prompt "Just... just someone love him. Hug him. Make him happy. With or without Zoloft." and the story took on a life of it's own. Leonard and Stuart have something of a slowly developing relationship made of equal parts restrained content and frustrating detachment. Or: "When I look back and think about times I was really unconditionally happy, and it wasn't quickly marred by my ability to make exactly the wrong choice at every intersection, it was 1993. And then, maybe last Thursday."
6) The Relocation Vortex
All canon pairings with heavy Leonard/Penny and Shamy (Sheldon/Amy), and then Howard/Bernadette
