I think I choked when I saw the finale. I was so shocked (so kudos for that). But I can't stand that they did it. Penny and Leonard should be together...(or she can make my shipper heart happy and get with Sheldon). :)

“I can’t imagine that their relationship will go very far,” Galecki said, “What’s more, I think that it might be one of the steps that bring Penny and Leonard closer together. After-all, they didn’t break up because anyone messed up. They broke up because of Penny’s own incapabilities in love and discomfort with what she was feeling.”

THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY I CAN'T EVEN REALLY EXPLAIN IT. NO JOHNNY, THAT IS NOT WHY THEY BROKE UP. THEY DIDN'T BREAK UP BECAUSE PENNY WAS INCAPABLE OF LOVE. THEY BROKE UP BECAUSE LEONARD WAS INCAPABLE OF BEING SECURE IN THE RELATIONSHIP, INCAPABLE OF TREATING PENNY LIKE A HUMAN BEING, AND INCAPABLE OF COMPREHENDING WHAT A FUCKING ASSHOLE HE IS.

AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THIS?

ALSO GET SOME GODDAMN WOMEN WRITERS ON THIS SHOW PLEASE.

This is at least the first comment I've seen by anyone involved in the show that doesn't seem to blame the Raj/Penny thing solely on Penny.

This is true, but it still sometimes blows my mind how out of touch this show and the people that make it are. It's done by the same man who created two and a half men, he's not looking to make quality television. I feel like they stumbled on something fresh and really kind of liberating with the character of sheldon and penny and their interaction, but sometimes the sophomoric humour and the way its written to be OKAY, to be a representation of normal male behavior (ie entitlement)... It just makes me tired. I get tired of overlooking everything I hate about it.

I still love it and I will always enjoy it, I just wish they could take risks and make something fresh and progressive, instead of telling me penny has a lot of sex because she's incapable or afraid of love. There's so much more interesting things on tv.
