Crisis 003 - [Accidental Video]

[The Dreamberry turns on to show a big, furry face, one that is clearly not Zack's.  The kitten, Faolan, sniffs the screen for a moment, then turns around and hops onto the bed where, aha! Zack is sleeping.  And has been sleeping for a week.  Faolan walks over his chest and sniffs his chin, but there's no response, so he curls up on Zack's chest.

The animals around here have a habit of turning on dreamberries it seems. [ How does this keep happening? ]

Ah, nothing. I was amused by your pet's ability to work the dreamberry better than I can.

[Cloud, however, was completely unaware of the scene in the bedroom. Instead he was out in the kitchen, elbow deep in soap water, carefully washing the plates he had used over the last couple of days. His Dreamberry was sat on the counter a couple of feet away, well out of splashing distance but close enough where he could hear it if it turned on.

It was hard to hear anything over the sound of Talus barking, however, and he found himself sighing as he turned off the water, grabbing a towel to dry his hands on before moving to kneel down in front of the puppy, who immediately began barking more loudly, butting his head against Cloud's chest.]

Something's got you excited all of a sudden.

[Now would be a good time for Talus to learn Human, but, alas, it isn't possible. Cloud will just have to deal with the puppy leading him, bit by bit, to the bedroom, stopping to bark and jump around. Hurry up!]

[Once the puppy had bounded away from him, he stood up, shaking his head at the young dog's exuberance. But since he more than likely had to go outside, Cloud followed, unwilling to have to clean up another mess. So imagine his surprise when he found Talus not waiting by the front door, but by the entrance of the hallway instead.]

Talus... I told you, Zack's sleeping. Nothing we can do but wait it out.

[Action] I play a puppy and have no dog icons. What is this.

[You're missing the point, Cloud. Talus gives a puppy sigh and sits down defiantly.
