Is Nicholas lying about not wanting Danny cause he's freaked out, or, just bluntly reporting his feelings on the matter? I anxiously await the next installment!
Oh poor Danny. He's never had much power and now abusing it is far too tempting (not to mention way fucking cool to not use.) I'd find it saddening if it were not so damn Hot. (oh wait... it's both.)
So, did he miss Dr. Who?

vampires are an interesting metaphor. they represent the darker part of sexuality. we are vulnerable, and naked, and we don't like to think about how dangerous sex can be. quite honestly, i'm just a tad nervous to proceed. on the one hand, i want to save them. on the other, it would feel wrong to pull any punches.
mmm, can't say at this time why nicholas turned danny down.
lol, poor danny? mmm. i'm surprised nobody has written about the fact that danny replaced a domineering father figure for...well, nicholas isn't domineering so much as he is usually in charge, both at work and at home. that danny can now control him is, indeed, very tempting. i feel like i have opened pandora's box here.
(yes, sadly, he missed dr. who that night.)

And, I note that Danny feels both delight and fear at his power. Maybe, Nicholas can do something to remind Danny of his intense protective urge towards Nicholas, e.g. blunderbuss-blocking, for instance, in the past.
Or? Danny's sire could get involved, if your version of vamping has that sire-power-over-chile concept.
Orrrr Danny could go with it, have a Nicholas puppet, and recreate his father's covert empire. Woot!
