Recently I posted about some conflicting feelings I had about weight loss and getting pregnant and because of all the wonderful, supportive comments I received my husband and I have made the commitment to both keep TTC and live a healthier lifestyle.

So my doctor recently told me I have low iron (despite being a steak lover) and that I'm showing up as insulin resistant, which can be a precursor to diabetes/develop into gestational diabetes when pregnant ( Read more... )

Happy New Year Big Mommas! I think 2008 is going to be a great year! We are going to TTC #2 this summer for another spring birth...I can't believe my son is going to two in a couple months!
