So this post is my 2nd one, on here and for purposes of not eating up your friends page its placed in the cut.
This post is about TTC, and my self-esteem issues about the ultrasound, if this is something you want to read or give me some input. Though do know there is TMI.

Calendar only methods aren't the most reliable at predicting ovulation. Charting your cycle using information about your basal body temperature, cervical mucous, cervical position and texture are much more reliable. You can read more about it at fertilityfriend.com or in the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wescler.

This is a good place to start looking for size-friendly health care providers.

When I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks for a nuchal fold scan (since i'm 35), they had to push pretty hard to get a clear view of the baby. I also had to hike my chub up and hold it out of their way so they could get a better view way down low under my chub fold. If this were my first pregnancy I probably would have been moritified. However, after having given birth any and all modesty I once had around medical professionals is GONE. Just remember, they see and work with all different body types every day. Hopefully you'll be able to find a fat-friendly doc and they will treat you with the same kindness and compassion as the skinny girls.

I was 235 lbs when I conceived the first time, 230 lbs when I conceived the second time...I did not have any trouble doing so. Technically I am considered "morbidly obese" when my BMI is taken into account ( ... )

Because you were on BC in December, it should be WELL out of your system by now. It only takes a month or two for the hormones to be gone completely, so that won't hinder your chances ( ... )
