I like it -- definiately sounds like Kaylee. I could also see her believing in fresh starts in other, non-Simon areas of her life too.

Thanks! I'm glad to know I got her voice right! Yeah, I can see her believing in fresh starts in many situations. She's just so fixated on Simon, though, that she had to talk about him, and nothing else. *g* Glad you liked this!

I agree. You can't really write Kaylee without knowing that she's fixated on Simon, just like you can't write Wash without knowing he's centered around Zoe.
