This is amazing! Don't think I've ever seen more fitting post-Becoming Buffy vid. And don't worry on that "Buffy in sunglasses" shot, you couldn't avoid it here, it's just perfect fit for this video.
Besides, you made me think about Buffy/Lily parallels, and how Lily (aka Anne) is real life Buffy in so many aspects.

Thank you! Lana Del Rey seemed like an interesting retrospective fit, especially this song which is such a marked step from daddy issues into breakup song. It also made me think about how weary Buffy already is, one season in and like 16 years old. Love that closing moment of Innocence ("let it burn").

I think Buffy is also real-life Buffy, minus the superpowers obviously, but I mean the difference being partly in how they respond to similar impulses (then obviously, in Anne, how they influence eachother - principally how Buffy influences Lily, but Lily also gives Buffy a reason to come out of her post-Becoming shell). I love Lily, had forgotten the link with ATS until reading that wiki. That ATS development makes me love her a lot more, and her identity as Anne is particularly 'Buffy IRL'.

Here on rbfvid's rec-- this is awesome! I had completely forgotten about Lily, to my detriment :D But Anne was like a window into another show, or an AU, which in some ways is just as great an interesting as the show itself.

Thanks! Anne is pretty imprinted on my brain (Buffy leads a factory uprising with a hammer and sickle!) so I always remember Lily but tended to forget her appearances elsewhere in canon (as Chanterelle, then Anne in ATS). She's a really great minor character I think, in terms of the development we see - and don't see.

Love those comparisons, especially the one at 1:03! Lily/Anne's arc is one overlooked in the series, I think and I love the fact that she appears at the very end of it.
