[A far assessment, as far as Austria was concerned. Of course he did like it because Mozart's operas were usually fun, but Abduction from the Seraglio wasn't one of his favorites. ]
Understandable. I must admit, Abduction from the Seraglio is not one of my most favorite of Mozart's works. It's simply not as memorable as some of his later operas.
[He is thinking of something now, if only because he got tickets to the Somarium Opera from his secret Santa all the way back when, and this kind of reminds him of it.]
You know, I was speaking with another person that appreciates classical music about the fact that though Somarium does have an opera, the operas performed are rarely anything worth seeing. Perhaps it would be possible to get different things performed. Would you be interested in helping, should it be possible, Salieri?
I'm inclined to agree with Mozart, actually. I believe his music has only as many notes as were necessary.
